Ryan started RKC Logistics LLC in 2016 with the sole purpose to solve complex freight problems and exceed customers expectations though building relational capital.
Ryan brings more than 27 years of logistics sales and operations leadership to the team. Having worked in various brokerage settings from large non-asset brokerage offices to smaller hybrid asset/broker settings, and having managed multiple employees has given Ryan valuable experience to handle and meet every freight challenge.
Outside of work Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and son. Activities as a family can include riding bikes, taking rides in the golf cart, beach trips, and making meals for families in need. Originally from Northeast Ohio, Ryan is passionate towards Cleveland sports teams and backyard BBQ.
Since Jake was young, he knew he wanted to be in the business world. Unsure of where that may land him, logistics found him. Now, as a freight broker for RKC Logistics he finds that many, he finds that many of his personal values and skills are applied directly to this field and the company. Among those values are organization, discipline, clear and concise communication, and authenticity. This is what allows RKC Logistics to continue to exceed expectations and keep its customer's freight safe and secure.
Outside of work, Jake lives a healthy lifestyle, spending lots of time in the gym and outdoors on the golf course. Jake eats, sleeps, and breathes Boston Celtics, and on weekends, he bar-tends at a local restaurant and spends quality time with friends. Ultimately, Jake is looking forward to growing RKC Logistics, and growing himself alongside it.
Tyler brings a relationship-first mindset and a strong operational foundation to the team. Before entering logistics, he spent nearly five years with Walters Exterior, where he worked across sales, business development, scheduling, logistics coordination, and administrative operations. Being involved in both customer conversations and day-to-day execution taught Tyler an important lesson early: Trust is built when words and actions line up.
Earlier in his career, Tyler held business development roles at TD SYNNEX, within the Pro AV channel and served in media coordination at Grace Church SC. Those experiences strengthened his communication skills and reinforced the value of clear expectations, consistent follow-through, and treating people with respect.
Across every role, Tyler has earned a reputation for reliability, attention to detail, and solving problems before they become bigger issues. He believes strong relationships are built through honesty, accountability, and showing up when it matters—not just when it’s convenient.
Based in the Greenville, South Carolina area, Tyler is a husband and father who values family, faith, and staying active. Outside of work, he enjoys producing music, running, and investing time in the people around him—bringing the same care and consistency to relationships in his life as he does in his work.
